4B Assembly write-up – 7th July 2022

School assembly plays an important role in facilitating students’ overall development. It aids community participation as well as hones the skills of children on account of a healthy competitive spirit between different groups. Probably it’s the first platform that is provided to young minds, boosting their confidence towards public speaking and imbibing a feeling of team spirit in their nascent minds.

Based on the motive of the SLP of the school, a class assembly was held at the primary assembly area to acquaint students with the school program more clearly.

The theme for the assembly was “Empathy – We rise by lifting others”

Empathy is seeing with the eyes of another, listening to the ears of another, and feeling with the heart of another. Empathy is the door to wisdom.

Assembly commenced with chanting OM to seek the blessings of the Almighty. The program continued with the Thought for the day to imbibe positivity and News for the day to keep the updated on the latest news of different areas. Student talk by Rohan was inspiring as it opened up about the importance of the SLP of the school. Song and skit were performed by 4B Students to facilitate the motive of empathy – “Empathy grows as we learn. Never look down on anybody unless you’re helping him up”

Suma ma’am addressed the children and encouraged them to dream big and work hard.
